February 22, 5 pm: We’d like to warmly welcome you to our grand finale event at the Berlin Keil-Gallery – and at 9 pm a guided tour will lead you to the places of the “Junge Wilde” during the 80s.
Berlin’s most esteemed presenter Stefan Rupp will lead you through the night, for 20 years he has had and still has his own morning show on rbb Radio Eins.
In the presence of artist Peter Robert Keil, his work will be approached from different perspectives: ranging from an art-historical dimension to M.J. Werwerka’s professional point of view. However, Keil’s work will also be assessed by various groups of our society: their perception of art and of Peter Keil’s work has been observed by GIM in the context of several art-dialog-forums.
Five pieces of art (paintings, graphics, maiolicas) will be auctioned benefitting “Frostschutzengel“, a non-profit organization taking care of homeless women in Berlin.
The grand finale will continue at 9 pm: a guided tour will lead you to the places in Berlin where the “Junge Wilde” generation of “young and wild” artists thrived during the 80s. KUNSTKOMPLIZEN BERLIN will provide expert knowledge about the young and wild style of art, which was a huge source of inspiration for Peter Robert Keil.
Please register in advance if you would like to join us on this tour. To cover all expenses, we will ask you to pay an amount of €60.
