Through a selection of diverse artists—both emerging and established, regional and international—the exhibition seeks to present a range of positions and perspectives on the relevance of art in today’s society. Critical and reflective contexts addressing key political and social conflicts are considered alongside personal experiences, an intensive engagement with the present, and artistic stances consistently maintained over many years.
The exhibition will take place from April 18 to May 23, 2026, at the Xylon Museum in Schwetzingen. It runs concurrently with the SWR Festival in Schwetzingen, which also shares the theme ‘Haltung’(Attitude/Stance). Further information will follow.
