Drawing from the extensive archives of the Keil Collection Heidelberg, Dr. Hoge has curated an impressive selection of over 70 works by Peter Robert Keil. The new installation in GIM mbH’s Wilhelminian-style building at Goldschmidtstraße 4-6 in Heidelberg is organized around the seven primary motif groups that define Keil’s central oeuvre. The featured pieces represent the core of the collection and span various creative periods of the artist’s career, ranging from oil paintings of the early 1980s to prints and works on paper from the recent past.
On Saturday, July 13, and Sunday, July 14, 2024, the curator will personally lead one-hour commentary tours of the new installation, starting at 3:30 PM. In addition to an introduction to the works and in-depth background insights, will there also be a chance to meet the artist in person? We’re not telling just yet!
